Discoveries of human remains on the block containing the St. Peter Street Cemetery go back into the nineteenth century. This one, on the site of Maison Dupuy hotel, resulted in the notification of the Coroner’s Office. However, after it was determined that the coffins were from an old cemetery, apparently nothing else was done. So far, no record has been located of what became of the human remains in this case.
